Hartville Community Garden

Another reason Hartville is a great place to live, work, and play!  Thank you Hartville Hardware for sponsoring.
Land for gardening at Hartville Flea Market
As some of you know, growing vegetables at the Wise house is a summertime must.  In the past we have grown zucchini, squash, pole beans, lima beans, green beans, snap peas, corn, carrots, radishes, all kinds of lettuce, tomatoes, garlic, potatoes, and probably a whole bunch of other stuff that I’m forgetting.

In addition to our home gardens we requested two 10×40 plots at Hartville’s Community Garden.  We’re currently growing corn and green beans.  Even though it’s been ridiculously dry most of the plants are up and growing.
Spring in Hartville's GardenIt’s so much fun to see what people are planting.  I can’t wait to see it in full bloom.

It looks like plots are still available.  Call Jim at 330-699-6337 to reserve your area.  Water is available on site, just bring your own watering cans and equipment (or stop by Hartville Hardware right next door and pick some up).
