Here at Best Bib and Tucker we have a strong belief in supporting our fellow small businesses. Not only is it better for the local economy but you can often find unique items rather than the cookie cutter pieces from a big box store.
A wedding is an awesome opportunity to support local businesses. As part of this month’s wedding focus we will be featuring some of the shops and services around Hartville that helped to make the day so special.
In the spotlight this week is Quail’s Covey Bed and Breakfast where we hosted Emily’s Bridal Shower.
Matt and Em come from close-knit families. It was important for both of them to have a shower where aunts, cousins, grandmas, and friends could come together to meet and get to know each other.
Quail’s Covey was the perfect setting for such a shower. It’s an absolutely beautiful place inside and out.

Charlie and her fabulous crew for the day set up tents on the back lawn and patio and adorned the tables with pretty blue centerpieces.
Our luncheon menu consisted of a southwest chicken salad with the most delicious dressing, a hummus wrap (or as Matt calls it a Yum-mus wrap), grandma salad, chocolate silk, strawberry, and lemon pies, and of course Charlotte’s famous Apple Dumplin’s. Charlie also made the sweetest cut-out PB&J sandwiches for the little girls.
From a maid-of-honor’s perspective, this was the ultimate shower experience. Charlie truly took care of everything and I was able to enjoy the day and spend time with all the guests and Emily.
