A wedding is an awesome opportunity to support local businesses.  As part of this month’s wedding focus we will be featuring some of the shops and services around Hartville that helped to make the day so special.

In the spotlight this week are Beginnings Salon and Day Spa, Doreen Leaf Designs, Victorian Rose, and Best Bib and Tucker.

We had a girls’ day at Beginnings Salon and Day Spa for Em and all the bridesmaids that included manicures, pedicures, and massages.  What a perfect way to take some time out to relax and have fun the week of the wedding.  They also did Emily’s, Barb’s and all the bridesmaids’ wedding day hair and make-up.

Emily found her dress and veil at Doreen Leaf Designs.  They have stunningly beautiful dresses at a variety of price points and gave great tips for putting on, tying, and bustling the dress.

Bridesmaids’ shoes were purchased at Victorian Rose also here in Hartville.  Ladies if you haven’t checked out their shoe selection, where have you been.  They also have a great sidewalk sale every summer!

And last but certainly not least is Best Bib and Tucker (yeah that’s us).  We typically have a selection of crinolines to go under a bridal (or prom) gown that range in price from $20-$30.  We also take in veils and tiaras on consignment and stock a variety of handmade hair accessories.
